Recording of child attendance is mandatory for all providers receiving payment through the NJ Division of Family Development (DFD) Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP).
This means providers will be responsible for recording when a child is absent from their scheduled days of care (normal days they attend). Additionally, providers are also required to report facility closures, holidays and vacation days. Providers must record these absences and scheduled closure days in the NJ CCAP Attendance Calendar. Providers will access the calendar through NJCCIS.
