As part of the COVID-19 public health emergency, the state launched the New Jersey School-Age Tuition Assistance Program to help families pay for care for their school-age child in need of child care as a result of remote learning schools schedules.
This program is now closed.
If you need help paying for child care, you can apply for the state’s Child Care Assistance Program. To give you a sense of whether you would be eligible for the Child Care Assistance Program, the income maximum for a family of four is $60,000 annually. Use our calculator to see if you are likely to be eligible or visit our parent page to learn more about this program. If you need help finding child care, contact your local Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) Agency.
