Description:
This 3-hour live virtual course will equip early childhood professionals with the knowledge and strategies to support multilingual learners from ages birth to five. This course will explore early language development and acquisition. Participants will learn to create linguistically rich, culturally responsive environments that honor children’s home languages, cultural practices, and the communities in which they live. This course will also focus on adapting language support and instruction based on the unique needs of children and family feedback, ensuring that instruction, materials, and resources are inclusive, representative, and accessible to all.
