This 2-hour live virtual session explores the social and behavioral classroom expectations of Connect4Learning that support children’s emotional development. We discuss how the expectations work in the classroom and how they translate to other in-school settings, such as the playground, hallways, and gym, as well as out-of-school settings such as the park, home, and virtual learning. The Pyramid Model for Promoting Social-Emotional Competence provides guidance for educators on the use of research-based instructional practices and behavior supports for all children, including those with behavioral challenges.
