Description:
Learning to rhyme is an important skill for children to develop. It is an early indicator for literacy development and success. In this 2-hour live virtual session, participants will understand the progression of phonological awareness and how rhyming plays a role in phonemic awareness development. Participants will learn developmentally appropriate strategies to add rhyming activities to all parts of the Connect4Learning day. Participants will gain strategies and tips that will help children understand how to recognize words that rhyme and to help students generate words that rhyme .
